Biography

Caroline Laurie is a French adult film actress who was primarily active between 1988 and 1990. Throughout her career, she appeared in numerous French and Italian productions and performed under several stage names, including Christine Feld, Christine Lichen, Carole Laurie, Emmanuelle Vincent, Vanessa Rubinstein, and Emmanuelle Kane, depending on the production company and distribution market. She began her career in the late 1980s, during a period of prolific adult film production in France, when feature-length films were widely produced for specialized cinemas and the growing home video market. Among her best-known performances is Jeux de baise à la fête foraine (Orgy at the Funfair, 1988), directed by Michel Ricaud, in which she was credited as Christine Feld. Produced by Tropicale Production Films and distributed by Défi Studios, the film was shot in Paris, with many of its outdoor scenes filmed at the historic Foire du Trône. She also appeared in Les Charmes secrets de Miss Todd, La Femme en noir, Du boudoir au trottoir, Marie ou la perversion anale, Fucky Dancing, and Vortix. Her career quickly gained an international dimension through her participation in several European co-productions, particularly Italian films. These include La bottega del piacere (The Pleasure Shop), in which she was credited as Vanessa Rubinstein, and Moana la scandalosa, where she appeared under the name Emmanuelle Kane. She also portrayed Colette in both installments of The Phantom of the Cabaret, before appearing in Sex ristorante and the Diaries of Fire & Ice series. Caroline Laurie shared the screen with many of the leading French and European adult performers of the late 1980s. Although her career was relatively brief, Caroline Laurie is regarded as one of the actresses who contributed to the French adult film scene of the late 1980s.
